By accessing and using DMV Test Free, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part, please do not use the service.

DMV Test Free is a free online study aid providing practice quizzes for DMV written-knowledge tests in select U.S. states (currently California, Texas, Florida, New York, and Georgia). All questions are original and written from official state driver handbooks. Your ability to practice does not guarantee passing any official DMV test, nor does it provide legal advice about driving laws.

Not a government website

DMV Test Free is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any state Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), any U.S. state government, or any U.S. federal agency. We are an independent educational resource.

Information is provided for educational purposes only and is not official government guidance. Before scheduling your DMV test or relying on specific procedural information, verify all current requirements directly with your official state DMV, as laws and test formats change.

User accounts & acceptable use

You may practice without creating an account. If you choose to create an account using email sign-in, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your email secure, be responsible for all account activity, and notify us immediately of unauthorized access. You may delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected].

You agree not to impersonate others, submit false information, access the service for unlawful purposes, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service's functionality, or use automated tools to scrape or download content. Violation may result in account suspension or termination.

Intellectual property & disclaimers

All content on DMV Test Free, including quiz questions, explanations, and design materials, is original or licensed. You are granted a limited license for personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish our content for commercial purposes.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
