5. If you have to stop on a road or its shoulder, how soon must your emergency warning devices be set out?

12. While driving in fog, when should you stop along the side of the road?
Correct answer: Only if it is absolutely necessary
The manual advises against stopping along the roadside in fog unless you truly must. The better choice is not to drive in fog at all: wait it out at a rest area or truck stop.
