1. At an open intersection with no signs or signals, you must yield to a vehicle that:
Correct answer: Reaches the intersection at about the same time from your right
When no signs or signals control an intersection, yield to vehicles already in it and to any vehicle reaching it at about the same time on your right.
2. At a two-way stop you are waiting to turn, while another driver at the same intersection intends to continue straight through. Who moves first?
Correct answer: The driver going straight, because a turning driver must yield
Florida gives the through movement priority at a two-way stop, so the driver who plans to turn waits for the vehicle carrying on straight ahead.
3. As you approach a roundabout (traffic circle), what should you do?
Correct answer: Yield to traffic already in the circle, then enter when it is clear
Traffic already in a roundabout has the right-of-way. Slow down, yield to circulating vehicles, and enter to the right (counterclockwise) when there is a gap.
4. Before pulling onto a road from a private driveway or parking lot, you must:
Correct answer: Yield to traffic on the road and to pedestrians on the sidewalk
A driver entering a roadway from a driveway, alley, or parking lot must yield to all approaching traffic and to pedestrians on the sidewalk being crossed.
5. A pedestrian is crossing at a corner where there are no painted crosswalk lines. You must:
Correct answer: Yield, because an unmarked crosswalk exists at the intersection
Crosswalks exist at intersections even when no lines are painted. Drivers must yield the right-of-way to pedestrians crossing in these unmarked crosswalks.

6. You are turning left at an intersection while oncoming traffic approaches. What should you do?
Correct answer: Yield to the oncoming vehicles and turn only when it is safe
A driver turning left must yield to oncoming traffic that is close enough to be a hazard, and complete the turn only when there is a safe gap.
7. You reach an intersection where the traffic lights are completely dark because of a power failure. You should:
Correct answer: Treat the intersection as a four-way stop
When traffic signals are dark and not working, treat the intersection as an all-way (four-way) stop: stop, then proceed in turn, yielding to the driver on your right if you stopped at the same time.
8. A funeral procession with its headlights on is moving through an intersection just ahead of you. What should you do?
Correct answer: Yield and wait until the entire procession has gone by
Drivers, riders and people on foot all give way to a funeral procession. Once the lead car has entered the junction the rest of the line may follow it through, whatever the traffic control device shows.

9. You are on a dirt road and are about to enter a paved road where there are no signs or signals. What is required of you?
Correct answer: Traffic on the paved road goes first, so you must yield
At an open intersection, a driver coming off an unpaved surface onto a paved one gives up the right-of-way to whoever is already using the paved road.

10. A pedestrian is legally crossing in a marked crosswalk ahead of you. You must:
Correct answer: Stop and yield the right-of-way to the pedestrian
Drivers must yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk. Stop and let them finish crossing safely before you proceed.
11. Two vehicles reach a four-way stop at exactly the same time. Who has the right-of-way?
Correct answer: The vehicle on the right
At a four-way stop, the first to stop goes first. If two arrive at the same time, the driver on the left yields to the driver on the right.
